BREAKING NEWS! HISTORY WAS MADE AT BRADENTON SWC DISTRICT TOURNAMENT

Southwest Coast District player Arlene McCague, a member of the Palmetto Shuffleboard Club, reached a monumental milestone by earning her 400^th district lifetime point! Congratulations Arlene!

Bob Kendall, a member of the Bradenton Shuffleboard Club, earned his 200^th Southwest Coast District (SWCD) lifetime point on 11/14/2024. This achievement earns Bob induction in the SWCD Hall of Fame. The induction ceremony to be held in March 2025. Congratulations Bob!

Cheryl Putnam earned her 200^th point to qualify for the FSA Hall of Fame. Playing with her daughter Marcia, together they took 1^st place at the opening season state tournament held at Ft. Myers – Lee County courts.

Congratulations Cheryl from all SWC District players!

SWCD Shufflers Compete in National Tournaments

Annually, the Hendersonville, NC Shuffle Club hosts three national shuffleboard tournaments over 10 days. Players from Florida, New York, Ohio, Chicago, and Texas competed in Singles, Doubles, and Mixed Doubles tournaments September 5^th through the 13^th, 2024.

The SWCD players excelled!

1^st place in the Mixed Doubles – Ron and Pam Nurnberger.

1^st place in the Ladies Doubles – Cheryl Putnam and Marcia Clark.

Pam Nurnberger and partner took 2^nd place in the Ladies Doubles. Pam also placed 1^st in the consolation in Ladies Singles.

Tom Putnam took 4^th in the main for Mens Singles. Tom and his daughter, Marcia Clark, took 4^th in the Mixed Doubles.

Representing the SWCD was Rosiere and Jan Cote.

SWCD PLAYERS DOMINATE LADIES DIVISION AT MICHIGAN STATE SHUFFLEBOARD ASSOCIATION ANNUAL CHAMPIONSHIPS!

Pam Nurnberger and Cheryl Putnam won the Doubles Division of the Michigan State Shuffleboard Association annual championships in Battle Creek.

Cheryl also placed 1^st in the Ladies Singles and Pam took 2^nd.

Congratulations to Dave Kudro and Terri Smith!

Last week at the popular Summer National Shuffleboard Tournament held at Lakeside, OH, Dave and Terry won the Mixed Doubles Division. That is Terri’s 10^th national tournament win and Dave’s 7^th! This is their first national tournament title together in the mixed doubles.
