a. Team Captains will be required to keep statistics on each individual
player on their team in the form of a percentage of games won vs. games
played. At the beginning of each match each team Captain will rank each of
his doubles teams playing that day as 1, 2, 3 or 4 in descending order of
the Team’s YTD average, i.e., add the average of each person on the

rotation and substitution

a. Team Selection (club/parks with two teams) Sometime after the end of
the season and before the beginning of the next season the Club/Park
shall:

1. Shall create a list of all participating players ranked by their
most recent year-end averages, either as individuals or designated pairs
(park preference) in descending order.

2. They will then be assigned, to each of their two teams in such a way
so that the cumulative average of each team is as close as reasonably
possible. The exact distribution will be at the club/park’s desecration,
but the consolidated average of each team must be very close. These
assignments will be permanent for the entire season.

3. After a club/park completes their initial split to form two equal
teams in accordance with section 1 & 2 above they may, but shall not
be required to reconstruct their teams at the end of each season using the
procedure described above.

b. Player Rotation during match play.

1. All players on a Team, as pairs or individuals will be rotated
through the schedule so that every player will be scheduled for
approximately the same number of matches. This will be part of the
scheduling process for each club/park. The requirement of scheduling all
players for approximately the same number of matches during the year also
applies to club/parks who only have one team.

c. Rules for Substitution (clubs/parks with two teams)

1. If
one member of a pair from a team calls in as Unavailable, one of the
players from that Team who was not scheduled to play will fill that
persons place.

2. If
there are so many people from a team that call in as unavailable that
there are no members of that team left to substitute, an unscheduled
player from the other Team may substitute.

outside the League for an individual to sub for that match.

desecration of the Club/Park and the affected Captains.

2. In the case of a club/park with two teams, when a player is added to
the permanent roster, they will be added to the team who has the least
number of permanent players.

3. New players will not be assigned an average until they have played
in three matches. Until that occurrence a new players average shall be
assumed to be zero. When they play that average will be used to determine
where that team will play, i.e., 1, 2, 3 or 4.

e. Returning Player averages for purposes of calculating their rank
during matches.
